IU Kokomo Library provides valuable resources

IU+Kokomo+Library+provides+valuable+resources

The Indiana University Kokomo Library has multiple resources to help students with their college classes. These resources are to help you so do not hesitate to take advantage of them!

First is the Circulation Desk; normally staffed by a student assistant, they can help you navigate campus, activate your crimson card, and help with printing or scanning papers for class.

There is also the research help desk, open Monday – Thursday 11 am to 3 pm, where one of the full–time librarians can help students and professors find the resources needed for research papers. They will need to know the subject of the paper along with any extra relevant information you are able to provide; they do their best to help find the resources and help show you where you can find untapped resources as well in case you need just that one extra citation.

The writing center helps you with papers once you are past the research phase; they specialize in assisting with editing and citations. Be sure to check their hours or book an appointment at iuk.mywconline.com

Tech support is crucial for anyone on campus, between the IU Mobile app, the campus computers, and personal computers there is a lot of technology available to students and staff. While our tech support may not be able to fix personal computers, they are able to help troubleshoot why certain canvas features are not working, they can help download any software you might need for classes, and they can help with most if not all printing problems. Office hours are from Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 7 pm.

Study rooms are on the first and second floor of the library; if they are empty and there is no reservation posted on the side of the door, you can use them first-come, first-served. Look for QR codes posted both by and inside the study rooms and scan them to reserve them. Study rooms can be reserved up to a week in advance, but you must reserve at least 24 hours in advance.

The library hours are Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 9 pm, Friday 8 am to 5 pm, Saturday from 12 pm to 7 pm, and Sunday from 1 pm to 7 pm.
