About a month ago, I made a Facebook post asking what good books there are to read or listen to. “I want to get into reading, what are some good books that are worth reading?” was my post.
I got 30-40 comments on that post recommending several different books.
“Icebreaker” by Hannah Grace was one of the many that sounded interesting, so I downloaded the audiobook and listened to it while I was cleaning, crafting, or even driving.
I turned it on anywhere I would go because I wanted to know what happened next.
I’m not a hockey fan and by the cover of the book, you just knew it had to do with hockey. It was a hockey romance, full of spice and comfort.
The book is about a girl, Anastasia Allen, and a boy, Nathan Hawkins; Allen has been a competitive figure skating since she was 5 years old and had a full college scholarship thanks to her skating team. She worked her whole life for a shot at team USA. Hawkins was captain of the Maple Hills Titans hockey team and has never had a problem he can’t solve.
When a misunderstanding results in the two sharing the rink the pair find themselves stuck together in many more ways than one.
I am a huge romance, spicy, comedy movie person, so I thought this would be a good book to listen to.
